Collages are created using old found paper; postcards, letters, tickets, maps, documents, stamps ... They are layered and assembled to evoke the idea of our collected memories during our lifetimes, or of an imagined character in each collage. Ephemera is assembled, clipped and machine stitched in place with words referring to those found within them. Found antique buttons and metalwork elements from my jewellery are also added.
Each collage is a one-off, they vary in size from W: 13 to 27cm wide x H: 9 to 23cm high, then mounted onto white mount board (unframed). The following are all currently available for £80 each plus postage.
